- Act as a key leadership member for Greater China business, and participate business' long-range strategic planning processes with specific responsibility for developing the long-range financial roadmap.
- Take the leadership role to build up yearly operation budgets for Greater China business
- Provide leadership to expand ROI through efficient deployment of capital investments, working capital and resources.
- Approve, monitor and review progress of New Product Introductions (NPI) in terms of investment and estimated completion to ensure growth targets are met.
- Strategically partner with the Greater China team to drive profitable growth through analysis, influencing and action on pricing, new customer acquisition, new ventures, potential business acquisitions, product profitability and cost control.
- Improve the overall working capital performance by working with all the business leaders and function leaders in driving Days of Supply, Days of sales outstanding, accounts receivable, accounts payable and past due, or any other key metrics.
- Ensure global alignment across functional organizations including Integrated Supply Chain, Engineering, Sales, IT, HR and Strategic marketing to achieve business commitments.
- Lead reporting, forecasting and planning process for the region, including distribution of appropriate financial targets for profitable growth of the various business segments and proactive analysis of the financial statements for opportunities to increase income.
- Perform market, customer and product analysis to proactively identify both new opportunities and potential risks to future business performance.
- Ensure the accuracy and compliance of all finance statements and controls.
- Work with operations leadership to develop and ensure a clear path to achieve productivity targets including the financial impact of project completions.
- Manage and develop finance talents to ensure strong organization capability and succession depth for long term business growth.
