- Based on Group, Regional and Global Segment Strategies propose, drive and implement China Region/Sales business development and projects in cooperation with the Sales BU BMDs and China RMD (can be short- or long-term activities and may involve activities across the entire value chain such as geographic development, campaigns, product launch, Supply Chain Management activities, sub segment(s) development, distribution, service offerings, acquisitions and post activities, market analysis and business plan suggestions. - Strengthen the Business Development process from development, planning and all the way to following up on progress. - Align key initiatives within China Sales Region, e.g. Offering for China. - Strong Product Lifecycle management for all offerings in the China region Product portfolio. (regional as well as Global Offering) - Secure productivity of the unit/department. - Ensure competence development in own function (and cross-functional if needed) - Ensure knowledge-sharing concerning future customer needs and long-term market trends with relevant stakeholders.
- Experience developing and implementing overall operating processes preferably within business development and Global Product Management. - Experience developing and executing key strategic initiatives within a complex business environment; experience working in a large manufacturing environment is strongly preferred. - Extensive experience operating and leading a large team and/or complex process preferably within business development Global Product Management - Most likely to have approx. 10 years of relevant work experience before entering level. - Strong background leading and developing other leaders in a team or department - Strong knowledge of best practices relevant policies, systems, processes, local laws and regulations where that may influence execution opportunities in the business units and function. - Curious, eager to learn and understand customers’ needs and pains - Strong leader with proven track record for developing people and team. - Strong communication skills-oral, written, and presentation. - As comfortable in a boardroom, as in a pump plant room setting. Engaging with people on all levels and professions, internally as well as externally. - High fluency in English - working knowledge of Mandarina or affection to Chinese culture is a plus
