1. Leading, Developing and Executing HR Strategies
• Partners with functional leaders to ensure effective HR systems and processes are in place to drive employee engagement and capability as well as contribute to the achievement of functional strategies and goals. Specific duties include but are not limited to:
Fills openings with competent people using the appropriate mix of internal promotions and external recruitment to satisfy near-term performance, longer-term succession needs and to insure the organization has the necessary outstanding talent
Deploys and manages on-boarding programs to accelerate the time it takes for employees to be fully productive in their new jobs and shape their experience through powerful connections with their leader, team and OC
Designs and implements training programs in partnership with corporate COE to further elevate the capabilities of employees and make positive impact to the business
Assists in leading the plant through TPM T&D pillar implementation
Executes effective performance management and rewards and recognition programs to engage employees and elevate business results
Coaches and mentors employees and leaders through complex employee relations opportunities to ensure fairness and eliminate legal risks for the company
Ensures compliance with relevant regulations and requirements pertaining to the management of HR to minimize risk and exposure to the company
2. Supporting Operations
• Develops a reputation and operates as a trusted advisor and business partner to the functional leaders
• Coaches leaders up, down and across the organization with confidence and candor consistent with the Owens Corning Leadership Capabilities, The Owens Corning House, and OC Guiding Principles
• Coaches and educates leaders so they are fully capable and accountable to own, improve and accelerate business results by:
Executing differentiated performance management and compensation
Improving assessment, selection, development and retention of best talents
Creating the right work environment to ensure a safe, engaged and productive employee base
• Leads through contemporary and effective change management practices
• Supports functional leaders in effectively communicating with their employees to foster an engaged workforce
• Assesses team performance and facilitates interventions proactively
• Creates and implements optimal organization design and structure to enable the strategy and the development of people
• Inspires and coaches leaders to invest in employee development for sustained business results
• Proactively diagnoses and recommends solutions to improve organizational effectiveness and workforce alignment
• Partners with local government agencies and labor unions to ensure compliance
3. Growing and developing talent
• Builds a team that is capable of leading their facilities and being strategic business partners to the plant NLT’s
• Grows and develops talent to focus on OC growth capabilities
• Develops team in TPM and on being a key member of driving T&D pillar in the plants.
• Facilitate the embracement of OC culture among employees in the organization.
4. Ensuring YH Plant HR operation and YH Site administration service efficiency
• Ensure HY Plant all HR activities in the right planning and execution.
• Make sure HR practices fully align with company policy and program.
• Manage YH Site Administration related works including outsourced agent management.
• Managing government relationship.
