• Establish, refresh and maintain the regulatory department databases in an efficient and accurate manner, with the ability to create, retrieve, interpret, file, and archive various reports, including SDS, labels, and other documents.
• Track, monitor and update all relevant Chinese and international chemical regulations, and provide impact and risk assessment to business, technology and operations.
• Participate relevant industry associations and interact with government agencies to understand policy, standard while communicating and advocating company needs.
• Ensure PS&R related documents are up-to-date in accordance with latest legal requirements and address compliance issues from both internal and external parties.
• Support product hazard classification, SDS, chemical label design, commercial and R&D samples documentation review.
• Respond to internal (LORD) and external (customer, distributor, supplier) requests for information, SDS, labels, and other reports in a timely fashion; solicit compliance information as required from raw material suppliers; while maintaining good rapport with those contacted,in consideration of confidential and proprietary information and CDA.
• Interface with US Compliance team and local government, legal department to support business growing under governance guidance.
• In order to process information as requested, the incumbent must be highly competent in the operation of Windows and Microsoft Office products, various database software and web-based services.
• Much of the incumbent's work involves use of SAP as it applies to Regulatory applications and interface.
• Conduct routine Product safety and regulation training and reviews to technical and R&D organizations to ensure products in compliance with current and future regulations..
