Identify the major, specific end results that the position is responsible for achieving. Your core task will be to help company develop its site by expanding and improving mechanical engineering across various functions including production, warehouse, utilities, facilities area etc. Hereafter is what your daily life could encompass: - Ensure that the new or modified plant is appropriate to the mechanical, including: o Main product process & utilities equipment is available and of adequate capacity o Accessibility and space o Low maintenance features o Energy efficiency features o Cost effective features - Provide process & mechanical engineering expertise to project teams and response to deliver robust, cost-effective equipment at different phases of project - Be responsible for the complete mechanical engineering elements of the project, from budget estimation through design, equipment bidding, equipment vendor prints review & approval, equipment manufacturing assessment & equipment acceptance (FAT and SAT), construction, commissioning to ready for production - Technical review of all mechanical related engineering deliverables developed by vendors or 3rd parties in different project phases to ensure that all deliverables developed meet stakeholder’s expectation and with high qualities - Work close with EPCm firm and LDI as a bridge between stakeholders and them to ensure that mechanical engineering works and construction moving forward smoothly within defined time frame - Works as mechanical supervisor during mechanical installation stage to ensure high quality installation delivered as per construction drawings - Support project manager for management of vendors and 3rd parties - Close support operation team during commissioning & start-up stage
