1. Grow and maintain cell cultures (bacteria and yeast); 2. Isolate and manipulate DNA using standard molecular biology techniques (e.g., primer design, plasmid design, PCR, restriction digest, ligation, transformation, plasmid isolation, sequence analysis); 3. Familiar with protein engineering techniques (e.g., protein purification, running protein gels, performing enzyme activity assays); 4. Maintain a well written laboratory notebook。
1. PhD. in molecular biology, cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, bioengineering, or similar program; 2. Minimum 2+ years in a laboratory demonstrating experience in using standard molecular biology, protein engineering, and microbiology techniques; 3. Ability to expedite their work on a highly focused basis to meet deadlines; 4. Good record keeping and organizational skills; 5. Familiarity with proper laboratory safety and sterile procedures。
