1. Purpose of the Job Support sales on pre sales activity and develop technical knowledge in application scope: • Understand customer situation and to support Customers, Sales in China by providing Vacuum and Abatement products knowledge and technical presentations • To finalize optimise solution in sales project, technical interface between customer and headquarter • To study feedback on applications experience in the field and product performance issues and handle the CIP project to make customer satisfy. • Experience sharing with regional and headquarter on lesson learn in dry pump and abatement regularly. • Co-work with product manager team to enable the product roadmap and NPI plan • Study on competitor’s product and differentiated our own product value 3. Dimensions The scope of this role is all technical support supplied to the defined market sector in China Sales spec file and Technical specification release Process warranty follow up Technical issues follow up Issue technical memo competitor product market research Training and sharing within team. (Occasionally) responsible to purchase within defined scope upon line manager's permission and use company system.
4. Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required • Master Degree level or above in an engineering or science discipline • At least 2 years’ experience in semiconductor process/field service/mechanical design roles; ideally with a Technical support roll at SEMI OEM • Vacuum pump and process gas abatement knowledge is preferred. • Strong technical sense, good at issue technical materials. • good in both spoken and written English, Japanese or Korean speaking is preferred in additional • Able to develop/build relationships and interact effectively with customers at the technical manager level. • CAD drawing and driver licences is preferred
