Responsible to set the governance and establish direction for the deployment and implementation of Corporate Security guidelines and policies, procedures and technology solutions that are aligned with the strategic objectives and priorities of the GDF and therefore the business Develop appropriate regional programs to mitigate security risks and maintain regulatory and corporate compliance Make recommendations to business leaders/management to ensure alignment with current and future standards, customer requirements and enhancements that will secure and mitigate risks to acceptable levels Coordinate and conduct assessments/audits to identify key exposures, recommend improvements and tracking thereof Establish and lead incident response and remediation initiatives Establish and develop relationships with external agencies and law enforcement bodies/ authorities. Monitor regional risks related to the security for the company and the impact to operations in the markets. Establish effective networks with other security support teams and local advisers
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, IT or related fields. Minimum of 5+ years of experience and demonstrated success in positions of increasing responsibility within Security, ideally information security and physical security and experience in a significant leadership role. Experience developing, implementing, and managing security programs, including creation of standards, processes, procedures, plans and tactical deployment of security technologies. Global experience essential, including international security operations in key technologies and markets Knowledge of security best practices. Leadership experience of partnering with business to consult / advise on key aspects of security, such as information security, data protection and physical/ personnel.
